To ensure the perfect fit, follow these steps to measure yourself for a kilt:

• Waist Measurement: Measure around your natural waistline of the dancer, typically just above their navel or at the narrowest part of their torso. This is where the kilt will sit.
• Hip Measurement: Measure around the fullest part of the dancers hips, typically the widest part of their bottom. Make sure the measuring tape is level all the way around as you do this.
• Length: While wearing shoes, measure from the dancers natural waistline down to the middle of their kneecap. This determines the proper length of the kilt.

For best results, use a flexible tape measure and ask the dancer to stand naturally.
