Made with 100% pure new wool tartan fabric, the MacDonald of the Isles Hunting Ancient is a green-based tartan with shades of blue and red.
MacDonald of the Isles Somerled of the Isles, founder of Clan Donald, expelled the Norsemen from the Isles in the 12th century. He was killed in 1164 when engaged in the battle against King Malcolm IV. John, son of Angus Og, who supported Robert the Bruce, took the title of "Lord of the Isles.

Lochcarron's tartan ties are made with 100% Pure New Wool tartan, weaved in the heart of the Scottish Borders.
